The incredible expandable mission home

We have just finished a crazy busy week and a half and I have renewed gratitude for living in such a perfect mission home. I did a blog post on it here. It is a nice spacious older home with plenty of room for gatherings.

Here is what has taken place here the past 11 days:

Oct 7-9 - Zone Leader Council with 23 missionaries (2 nights, unmeasureable quantities of food prepared and eaten)
From Oct 08 ZL Council

Oct 12 - Mission home fireside with about 50 in attendance

Oct 13-14 - New Elders - here for 2 days and nights - at least they were supposed to but they got delayed and missed a night

Oct 15 - Departing Elders devotional and sleep over

Oct 17-18 - District Presidents training - 9 men visiting for 2 nights from all over the mission
From Oct 08

I had a little pre-halloween fun while they were here and fed them pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkin (the absolute best I have ever tasted)

Trinidad pumpkins are different than the ones I am used to - but the sure do taste good! I cook it all the time for a vegetable.

and occasionally, I have a little fun

You would not believe the quantity of food that has gone in and out of this house lately! The amazing Trinidad senior couple missionaries pitched in and made it all possible.

Tomorrow we leave on zone conference tour - so the mission home (and couples) will have a few days of well-deserved rest.
