Dear Mothers of West Indies missionaries,
We just want you to know how much we appreciate your fine sons. They are mighty men of God and we know that is because you have prepared them well.
These scriptures and pictures are in tribute to you:
"Two thousand of these young men have taken their weapons of war"(Alma 56:5)
"...never had I seen so great courage..." (Alma 56:44-45)
"...they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives..." (Alma 56:47)
"...we do not doubt our mothers knew it" (Alma 56:48)
"...they had fought as if with the strength of God; yea never were men know to have fought with such miraculous strength; and with such mighty power..." (Alma 56:56)
"...those two thousand and sixty were firm and undaunted. Yea they did obey and observe to perform every word of command with exactness; yea and even according to their faith it was done unto them; and I did remember the words which had been said unto me that their mothers had taught them." (Alma 57:21)
"...they are young, and their minds are firm, and they do put their trust in God continually." (Alma 57:27)
"...they stand fast in that liberty wherewith God has made them free; and they are strict to remember the Lord their God from day to day; yea, they do observe to keep his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments continually; and their faith is strong in the prophecies concerning that which is to come." (Alma 58:40)
Thank you for sharing your wonderful sons
Love,
President and Sister Robison
We have frozen this blog as a historical, yet informational view at what life is like in the West Indies Mission for all those called to serve. This blog was designed for the families and friends of those missionaries serving in the West Indies Mission from July 2006 to July 2009. Every six weeks, photos taken at zone conference as well as a new slide show including every person baptized were posted on the blog. All of the slide shows are also available on our You Tube channel. The current West Indies Mission blog can be found here. Posts on our missionary experience can be found here and earlier. And finally, if you are a returned missionary who served in the West Indies, there is a current blog for you. Click here or visit westindiesrm@blogspot.com

I love that part of the scriptures! How cool that we all have boys now. (I hope Jamie will too).
Thank you. Happy Mother's Day!
Bless you, Sister Robison, for making time to put his together and send it to us. You are a great blessing in our lives. May you have a wonderful Mother's Day as you continue to serve the missionaries and members of the West Indies Mission. We love you! The Huntsman Family
Happy Mother's Day to you Sister Robinson. I am sure it is a blessing to work with those young men. We enjoyed talking to our son today.
Thank you for all your love and care! Pieter & Annelies
