We have frozen this blog as a historical, yet informational view at what life is like in the West Indies Mission for all those called to serve. This blog was designed for the families and friends of those missionaries serving in the West Indies Mission from July 2006 to July 2009. Every six weeks, photos taken at zone conference as well as a new slide show including every person baptized were posted on the blog. All of the slide shows are also available on our You Tube channel. The current West Indies Mission blog can be found here. Posts on our missionary experience can be found here and earlier. And finally, if you are a returned missionary who served in the West Indies, there is a current blog for you. Click here or visit westindiesrm@blogspot.com

Trinidad Zone Conference - February

We have had a crazy Trinidad zone conference schedule this transfer. There have been so many things going on and changing!

We finally met today and focused on a question from Preach my Gospel:

What must an investigator experience in order to receive conversion?

The Book of Mormon is full of great conversion stories so we studied a few of them, looked for connections, patterns and themes and then tried to figure out what we needed to continually do our work better.

The Trinidad elders are amazing. They are baptizing many new members (more than ever before) and watching over them as they integrate into their new branches.

Today the missionaries are full of new ideas on how to grow in their ability do this special work.

I was not feeling well at the end of conference so I handed my camera over to Elder Mundy to snap some photos.

He did a great job, don't you think?
